Overview
The Wadsworth Blue Chip 50 (WBC-50) is a market-capitalisation-weighted index
of the 50 largest listed companies. It serves as the benchmark for the overall
equity market and is rebalanced periodically.
Index Fund
Players can invest in the WBC-50 ETF — a fund that holds all 50 constituents
in proportion to their market cap. The ETF automatically rebalances when constituents
change and pays out dividends proportionally.
Index Challenge
A monthly event where players outside the index earn trophies by entering the
Top 50, and players inside the index earn trophies by exiting it. Asymmetric
competitive pressure that rewards active portfolio management.
