What Is an ETF?
An Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) is a fund whose shares trade on the open market
just like any other item. Each ETF holds an underlying basket of assets.
The share price tracks the fund's Net Asset Value (NAV = cash reserves + asset value)
divided by total shares issued.
Available Funds
Apple Seeds ETF (🍎 SEED): holds apple_seeds commodity — tracks food commodity prices.
Energy ETF (⚡ ENRG): holds energy commodity — tied to industrial energy prices.
City NAV ETF (🏙️ CNAV): holds city land plots — appreciates as cities grow.
Land Bank (🏦 LAND): provides land mortgage financing — earns interest income.
WBC-50 Index Fund (📈 WBC50): holds equity in all 50 WBC-50 blue-chip constituents.
How to Buy
1. Go to Brokerage → ETF Trading Floor (or Brokerage Firm → ETF floor).
2. Select a fund from the left sidebar.
3. Switch to the Buy tab, enter quantity and limit price in your display currency, click Buy.
4. Your limit order sits in the open order book until a seller matches at your price.
5. You'll receive a push notification when your order fills.
How to Sell
1. Go to Brokerage → ETF Trading Floor.
2. Select the fund whose shares you hold (your balance shows under the fund icon).
3. Switch to the Sell tab, enter quantity and limit price, click Sell.
4. Each ETF bank maintains a standing buy order at ~92% of share price —
this guarantees you can always exit at a slight discount to NAV.
5. Open orders appear in the right panel; click the X button to cancel.
6. After a fill you receive a push notification with the proceeds amount.
NAV vs Market Price
NAV/share = (cash reserves + asset value) / total shares issued.
A premium (market price > NAV) means buyers are willing to pay over asset value.
A discount (market price < NAV) means you can buy assets below their intrinsic value.
The bank's standing buyback bid at 92% of NAV sets a hard floor on discounts.
Dividends & Income
ETF banks periodically distribute income from their underlying assets to shareholders
as dividends, credited directly to your cash balance. Dividend amounts vary by fund:
· Apple Seeds and Energy ETFs pay commodity sale proceeds
· City NAV ETF pays municipal rent income
· Land Bank pays mortgage interest income
· WBC-50 Fund distributes index rebalancing profits
Dividends are automatically sent when the fund generates surplus cash reserves.
Executive Perks (Banking Bonus)
Several executive skills boost ETF dividend income through the 'banking' bonus:
· CFO: Interest Arbitrage +15%, Dividend Booster +12%, Portfolio Hedge +20%,
Investment Grade +15%, Debt Restructuring +10%, Banking Synergy +5%
· CAO / CDO: investment_grade, interest_arb, banking_synergy, dividend_boost
· First Lady: Bank President perk +15% ETF dividends
Each exec with active banking-bonus skills multiplies every dividend payment you receive.
Stacking multiple executives with banking perks compounds the effect.
Fees & Taxes
Holder fee: an annual fee is silently deducted from the fund's NAV each tick.
Federal sales tax: 2.02% charged to the buyer on every ETF share trade.
City sales tax: variable rate deducted from the seller's proceeds (shown in push notification).
Solvency levy: if the fund becomes insolvent (cash reserves < 0), a levy is charged
to all shareholders proportional to their holding to restore the fund.
Multi-Currency Trading
All ETF prices are displayed in your chosen display currency
(Settings → Currency). The order form shows prices in your currency; the server
converts them to USD for order matching. Your dashboard balance reflects your legal
tender. Dividends are credited in USD and automatically converted to your legal tender.
Ticker & Widget
All 5 ETF funds appear in the bottom price ticker bar on every page,
labelled 🍎SEED, ⚡ENRG, 🏙️CNAV, 🏦LAND, and 📈WBC50.
Each shows market price and the premium/discount vs NAV (e.g. +1.2% NAV).
The Android home-screen widget also includes ETF fund prices in its data feed.
