What Is the Ledger?
The transaction ledger is a permanent, append-only record of every credit and debit to
your Wadsworth cash balance. It is the authoritative source of truth for your financial
history — disputes, audits, and financial statement calculations all derive from it.
What Gets Logged
- Market trades — every buy/sell fill, with price, quantity, and counterparty
- Production cycles — output sold by your businesses each cycle
- Retail sales — each retail transaction at your set price
- Tax payments — property tax, income tax, district tax, deducted automatically
- Tax voucher applications — when a voucher offsets a tax charge
- Dividends received — from all stock and ETF holdings
- Salary & grants — executive salary, government development grants
- Banking — deposit interest, bond coupon, bond maturity, loan repayments
- Land market — land plot purchases and sales
- P2P transfers — trusted trade and player gifts
- Forex conversions — when switching display currency
Viewing the Ledger
Navigate to Stats → Financial Statement and scroll to the Recent Transactions section.
The ledger shows the last 50 entries with amount, category, description, and timestamp.
Full history export is available via the Player API (Wadsworth Pro feature).
Data Retention
Transaction records are retained indefinitely. The financial statement UI shows the last 50
transactions; the complete history is always available via API. Nothing is ever deleted.
