Overview
Wadsworth supports multiple in-game reserve currencies alongside the default
Wadsworth Dollar (USD). Players can hold balances in any supported currency and
choose which currency their prices and balances are displayed in.
Reserve Currencies
Reserve currencies are issued by Reserve Banks — player-run central banks with
special privileges. Each reserve bank sets its own exchange rate relative to USD.
Currencies include: WD (Wadsworth Dollar, base), and any currencies issued by
active reserve banks in your game world.
Display Currency
Your display currency controls how prices and balances are shown throughout the
game. Switching display currency does not move your cash — it only changes the
unit of display. You can switch at any time from the Reserve Banks page.
Multi-Currency Net Worth
When you hold balances in multiple currencies, your net worth panel on the
Stats Overview shows each currency separately with its USD equivalent. The total
net worth is always expressed in your display currency at current exchange rates.
Forex Trading
The Forex trading floor (Wadsworth Pro feature) lets you exchange between currencies
at live reserve bank rates. Forex trades are settled immediately and logged in your
transaction ledger as a forex_conversion entry.
