Wadsworth Economic Tycoon Simulator ("the Game", "we", "us") is operated by IllinoisJo. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

I. Information We Collect

• Account information — username, email address, and hashed password when you register.
• Game data — in-game currency balances, inventory, land holdings, business activity, market orders, and all other gameplay actions you take.
• Chat messages — messages sent in the Global Chat and Trade Chat rooms are stored on our servers and visible to other players.
• Financial transaction records — all in-game purchases, sales, market trades, and transfers between players.
• Device identifier — a one-way hash of your Android device ID, used solely to link home-screen widgets to your account. This hash cannot be reversed to identify your device.
• Session data — login session tokens stored as secure HTTP-only cookies.
• Server logs — IP address and request timestamps retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

II. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and maintain your game account.
• To display your game data to you and, where applicable, to other players (e.g. public market orders, chat messages, leaderboard positions).
• To deliver home-screen widget updates to your Android device.
• To detect and prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse.
• To send transactional notifications (e.g. market fills, alerts) if you have enabled push notifications.

III. Information Shared With Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising networks. Your data is not shared with any third party except:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Law enforcement when required by applicable law.

IV. In-App Purchases

The Game uses Google Play Billing for any in-app purchases. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

V. Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us through the in-game support system and we will delete it promptly.

VI. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Chat messages are retained indefinitely for gameplay purposes. Server logs are deleted after 30 days. You may request deletion of your account via the Estate → Leave Game page inside the game.

VII. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by using the in-game account tools. We will respond within 30 days.

VIII. Security

Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Session tokens are transmitted over HTTPS only. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.

IX. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance.
